Breast Implants
Dr. Mosher has extensive experience with the most recent innovations in breast implants in Vancouver. He offers a full range of options, including the NATRELLE® 410 and INSPIRA® implants, to create natural-looking enhancement that complements each patient's individual body type.
One of the first decisions patients need to make when choosing breast implants is what material will most effectively create the look they want. Dr. Mosher offers a variety of Health Canada-approved implants for breast augmentation that are filled with either silicone gel or saline. The most commonly used implants are highly cohesive silicone-gel implants from Allergan®. These implants have a more cohesive or firmer gel filler material that helps maintain the shape of the implant and reduce rippling over time. Not all cohesive silicone-gel implants are the same, and Dr. Mosher has the experience to recommend the best options for you.
Dr. Mosher offers a variety of breast implant shapes and profiles to suit a wide array of body types. Implant profile refers to the amount of projection in relation to the base diameter. Dr. Mosher will analyze your body type during your private consultation to determine which size, shape and profile will provide you with the results you desire. This analysis also includes the use of the VECTRA® 3-D imaging technology that allows you to see how your breasts actually look before and after surgery.

Incision Methods
Vancouver breast augmentation patients can choose which type of incision will be used based on the implant type and personal preference. Dr. Mosher can recommend which of the following incision patterns would be most beneficial:
- Inframammary Incision: along the natural crease under the breast
- Periareolar Incision: around the edge of the areola (the dark skin surrounding the nipple)
